Nothing enhances a summertime meal pretty like a fruit-laden dessert – and this cherry crisp is simpler to make than pie. There’s no larger approach to showcase the favored summer time season fruit in its prime than with a sweet, buttery golden oat topping that fantastically contrasts with the good and comfortable fruit beneath. Easy Summer time season Cherry Crisp

Serves: 4-6


½ cup all-purpose flour
1/Three cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/Three cup quaint rolled oats
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1/eight teaspoon salt
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

6 cups cherries, pitted and halved
½ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup cornstarch


1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon and salt. Stir in butter until blended.
3. In a giant bowl, combine cherries and sugar. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in cornstarch and pour into 9×5-inch pan. Sprinkle with oat mixture.

4. Bake until fruit is effervescent and topping is golden brown, about 40 minutes, defending with aluminum foil to cease further browning if essential. Let cool 20 minutes. Serve warmth or at room temperature.
